How soon can you do my formwork?
For a house, plan on about a month between your call and the end of the job. When the calendar allows it, it can be done in two or three weeks. It's the question we get asked the most, and it's also what sets Coffrage XP apart: when a date is given, the crew is there, and the job gets done completely.

How much does foundation formwork cost?
Coffrage XP doesn't post a price per square foot: every project is quoted from your plans. The type of project, site access, and the schedule all move the number. Send your plans and you'll get a firm price.
Do I need plans before contacting you?
No. Without plans, Coffrage XP can't produce a priced quote, but we can call you, walk you through the steps, and guide you along. Just tell us where you're at in the form.
What types of formwork do you do?
Three techniques: Duraform, a patented forming system, for every sector; structural slabs, including floor by floor; and prefabricated PERI walls. Coffrage XP covers residential, heavy residential, commercial, and industrial.
What's the difference between a structural slab and a slab on grade?
A slab on grade sits directly on the ground. A structural slab spans open space: it makes room for a basement, an underground parking level, or a floor above. It's the one you need as soon as there's open space underneath.
Is it better to pour a wall on site or use a prefabricated wall?
A wall poured on site adapts to any shape. A prefabricated PERI wall arrives already built and comes off the jobsite's critical path, which saves days when the schedule is tight. Coffrage XP does both and will tell you which one fits your project.
Why does the quality of a foundation matter so much?
Because a poorly built foundation gets paid for over the entire life of the building. Once the concrete is poured, you can't see it anymore, but the problems show up later: cracks, settling, poor alignment, water infiltration. Doing it right the first time costs less than doing it over.
Which cities do you work in?
Coffrage XP serves the greater Montreal area: Lachute, Laval, Joliette, Rawdon, Saint-Jérôme, Terrebonne and Sainte-Adèle. For a project further out, we travel if the scope justifies it.
Do you work through the winter?
Yes. Coffrage XP crews form year-round, with the protections and methods suited to cold-weather work.
